   Cuts through weeds & grass like butter. I was fed up with string. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a joy. I’ll never go back to string trimmers, ever!

   With the tough grasses that grow on the steep hill below my house, I have a true proving ground for weed clearing equipment. One type of grass, a cordgrass that I refer to as “wire-rope grass,” is so tough that it is difficult to even tear up by hand. No string-feeding weed whacker can cut it. The Sharper Blade, however, cuts right through it. Also, the light weight of the entire machine is essential when you are trying to maintain your balance and footing on the steep, uneven slope. Finally, the fact that the blade is non-metallic is of critical importance in the dry, rocky hills of California, where a spark could easily spell disaster.

   We have a small grass area for our Boxer, and I use the trimmer to cut the grass. It is about 3′ x 30′. It takes me less than 10 minutes with little or no sweet here in the Las Vegas area. Recommend to anyone who likes quality equipment!
