Strongway Electric Chainsaw Sharpener keeps your chainsaw chain sharp and in top condition. Features a self-centering vise that provides equal grind angles without adjustment, clamping to chain sizes 1/4in., 0.325in., 3/8in., 0.404in. and 3/4in. chain pitch. Includes 1/8in., 3/16in. and 1/4in. thick grinding wheels. 5-11/16in. dia. with 7/8in. arbor. Some assembly required.

Good little chainsaw sharpener – I had over 10 change to sharpen and took them up to the local hardware store where they wanted 25 bucks a piece to sharpen them; to hell with that!!
I did about an hours worth of digging online looking at different models and decided on this one from Northern tool since I could go pick it up that evening. I took it out of the box and assembly was fairly straightforward but I’d have to give the directions on how to use the tool poor marks —- they weren’t much help at all. Fortunately a quick viewing of a few YouTube videos gave me enough info to get going. The first chain took me about 30 minutes to sharpen the second one took me about five.

After 40+ years of sharpening my saw chains by hand I finally broke down and purchased the Strongway sharpener. It was no mistake. My only mistake was that I waited as long as I did to get one. I made a base and bolted it to the sharpener. When I use it, I clamp it into my vice. It’s stores nicely on a shelf when not in use.
